Van der Graaf motorised pulleys. The drum motor is a completely self-contained motorized drive unit. Combining state-of-the-art manufacturing, precision craftsmanship and advanced engineering, Van der Graaf drum motors are designed to provide years of dependable service in all types of material handling operations.

The motor, gear drive and all moving parts are enclosed within the drum/shell of the drum motor. The motor and gears operate in a sealed oil bath ensuring proper lubrication and cooling. With no external motor, gear reducer, sprockets, chain or OSHA required chain guard, no external component maintenance is required.

The low profile of the drum motor results in a cleaner appearance and allows more space to fit the conveyor belt into less floor or overhead space.

Drum motors are available in mild steel or stainless steel construction, in wide range of sizes, speeds and horse powers to suit broad range of applications.
